Overview and Solution

In a constant bid to improve the quality and content of the 24hr News Channel, the SABC took the decision to, as part of the of the overall upgrade of the Provincial studio upgrade to request for the Supply, Installation and Commissioning of one robotic camera on the roof of the Auckland Park high rise building to enable the broadcast of interesting and picturesque angles of the city and traffic. 

The Configuration of the system from an equipment manufacturer point of view is exactly what we have successfully supplied and installed in Parliament. Our proposal to SABC comprised of Telemetrics robotic system, Ikegami Camera, Fujinon lense and Terredek streaming unit. This solution is the best of Breed and was 100% fully compliant with the SABC’s requirement.
